Job Description

  • Manage and advance plaintiff-side litigation files from investigation through resolution and trial.
  • Meet with clients and witnesses to understand claims, develop facts, and build strong working relationships.
  • Investigate claims, identify evidence, and help develop compelling case strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
  • Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings and other court proceedings.
  • Work directly with partners on litigation strategy and case development.
  • Prepare complex cases for trial and participate in trial-related activities.
  • Take ownership of assigned matters while continuously developing your litigation and trial skills.

Qualifications

  • Active Kentucky bar license required.
  • 1+ years of litigation experience.
  • Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Professional judgment, initiative, dependability, and strong work ethic.
  • Genuine interest in plaintiff-side litigation and helping clients achieve meaningful results.
