Job description

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) provides technical development and commercialization of domestic, sustainable sourcing of critical battery materials through lithium-ion battery recycling and battery metal extraction technologies for use in batteries that power electric cars, grid storage applications, and consumer electronics and tools. Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain.
As a Business Analyst I at ABTC, you will play an instrumental role in analyzing business operations and data to support strategic decision-making and optimize processes. You will collaborate with various departments, including finance, operations, and engineering, to gather requirements, perform data analysis, and translate findings into actionable insights. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, have a strong analytical mindset, and are passionate about driving improvements in a fast-growing company in the battery technology sector.
Requirements
  • Conduct basic data validation, research, and trend identification.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting activities.
  • Partner with teams (Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, etc.) to collect data and understand needs.
  • Support development of dashboards, reports, and analyses.
  • Assist with testing and implementation of system or process changes.
  • Prepare materials for business reviews or project meetings.
  • Maintain documentation libraries and ensure version control.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and small improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.
  • 0-1 years of experience; internships acceptable.

Expected Pay Range
