Location:Reno, NV or Verdi, NV

Schedule:Swing Shift Sunday - Thursday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm

General Summary

The Custodian plays a critical role in the success of Patagonia by supporting warehouse operations bymaintainingthe cleanliness of the physical building, both inside and outside. This person is a member of the facilities team and willbe responsible forperforming daily, weekly, and projected cleaning throughout our facilities in Reno and Verdi, NV. In thisroleyou must be passionate about our mission to save our home planet, exemplifying our culture, core values, and mission every day. WhatYou'llDo

Clean andmaintainbuilding restrooms,stockingthem with soap,towelsand paper goods.

Assistwith upkeep and sweeping of grounds and cleaning of picnictablesas necessary.

Dust and oil woodwork on a regular schedule.

Clean Windows and entry doors

Vacuum and spot clean carpet.

Schedule andmaintaincleaning of company refrigerators.

Remove trash and recyclable materials from various departments.

Assistwith departmentmovesas necessary.

Provide set-up and clean-up for meetings andspecial events.

Maintaincopier rooms, keeping surfaces clear and clean and scrap paper & recycled bins emptied.

Maintainkitchen area, keeping coffee area clean, dishes clean & put away, refill napkin dispensers,tableschairs & other surfaces clean, and floors swept and mopped.

Operatefloor scrubbing machine General warehouse cleaning as needed.

Working with chemicals /operatechemical dispensing units.

Properly measurechemicals that are not provided in dispenser form.

Understand how to read MSDS sheets.

Properly label chemicals.

Wear proper PPE when working with chemicals.

Work in other areas as necessary:

Work in Shipping, Repairs, Receiving, Worn Wear, Returns, Quality Control, and Inventory Control departments when necessary.

When working in other departments you are expected tomaintainat least the minimum productivity standards as applicable.

Experience You Bring

1+yearof custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital,governmentor similar environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to complete repetitive tasks daily.

Bending, lifting, climbing, walking, and standing for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.

Ability tosafely teamlift 70 lbs.

Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs., at times above shoulder height.

Possible exposureto chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.

Ability to read andcomprehendsafetymaterialand facility required documents.

Must follow all warehouse safety requirements.

Hours of Operation

Swing Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm

Must be willing to work other days of the week if necessary.

Extended hours occur during holidays and peak season.

This position is On-Site, requiring employees to work at our Reno, NV and/or Verdi, NV facilities during scheduled working hours.
