What is a listing manager remote?

A Listing Manager (Remote) is a professional responsible for overseeing and managing property listings for real estate firms or online marketplaces from a remote location. Their duties include creating, updating, and maintaining accurate property listings, coordinating with agents or sellers, and ensuring all listing information is current and compliant with company standards. They often handle client communications, schedule showings, and support marketing efforts. Working remotely allows them to perform these tasks from anywhere, using digital tools and platforms.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a listing manager remote?

To thrive as a Listing Manager Remote, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with real estate or e-commerce listing management, often supported by a background in business or marketing. Familiarity with listing platforms (such as MLS, Zillow, or e-commerce CMS), CRM tools, and online marketing systems is essential. Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and self-motivation are valuable soft skills for remote coordination and client interaction. These skills ensure accurate, timely, and effective listing management, driving sales and maintaining client satisfaction in a virtual environment.

Job description

Seeking a results-driven e-commerce strategist to spearhead our product lifecycle and growth roadmap tailored exclusively for the Amazon marketplace. In this role, you will leverage consumer data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to conceptualize, launch, and scale high-performing ASINs. This is a primarily on-site position based out of our office, designed for a collaborative leader who excels at bridging brand strategy with technical marketplace execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio & Roadmap Strategy: Architect the Amazon product strategy, managing new SKU innovation, strategic bundling, and full portfolio lifecycle optimization.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Lead cross-functional launches from initial setup and listing creation to promotional strategy, partnering closely with Brand and Creative teams.
  • Commercial Optimization: Set competitive pricing models, optimize listing positioning, and continuously audit catalog health to maximize conversion rates and Buy Box performance.
  • Operations & Logistics Planning: Sync with Supply Chain partners to align demand forecasting, stock replenishment, and inventory health for core and newly launched products.
  • Performance & Insight Analytics: Track critical ASIN-level metrics (BSR, traffic, reviews, and margins) to evaluate campaign ROI and eliminate underperforming SKUs.
  • Compliance & Alignment: Maintain absolute listing compliance with Amazon guidelines while collaborating with the PPC/Advertising team to sync ad strategy with product lifecycle phases.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of dedicated e-commerce experience across product development, category management, or marketplace strategy, with direct expertise on Amazon Seller/Vendor Central.
  • Demonstrated track record of scaling consumer products via end-to-end launch management, listing optimization, and catalog expansion.
  • Strong background in CPG, personal care, beauty, or related consumer goods environments highly preferred.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with a knack for converting complex market data into actionable, profitable product initiatives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to drive alignment across cross-functional partners in an on-site environment.
