JOB SUMMARY
A Liquor Store Clerk provides excellent customer service in a retail liquor store environment by assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining store standards. Supports daily store operations through stocking, merchandising, and compliance with all applicable alcohol sales laws and company policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selection and responding to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Operates the cash register and completes checkout procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Verifies customer identification to ensure alcohol sales are made only to individuals of legal age
  • Maintains knowledge of product locations and assists customers in locating items throughout the department
  • Maintains clean, organized, and well-stocked shelves, displays, and work areas in accordance with company standards
  • Receives, stocks, rotates, and merchandises product following proper handling and company procedures
  • Ensures accurate pricing, labeling, and signage on all merchandise
  • Supports inventory control by monitoring stock levels and assisting with replenishment as needed
  • Follows all company policies, programs, and directives, including safety, security, and cash handling procedures
  • Promotes a positive work environment through professional and courteous interactions with customers and team members
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant work experience will be considered

  • Frequently performs grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, twisting, crouching, and reaching
