Job description

Highland Park Golf Course is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a Snack Bar Attendant! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner
  • Prepare and serve food and beverage items
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area
  • Control inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products
  • Receive deliveries of product from vendors and ensure proper storage
  • Report to department manager when supplies need to be ordered
  • Stock and inventory products
  • Respond to customer questions regarding general information about the facility
  • Supply support to food servers and beverage cart attendants to ensure excellent service to members and guests
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
  • Communicate guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director, Food and Beverage and Chef
  • Review schedule for changes, calendar of events and facility activities on a daily basis
  • Process snack bar purchases with EZLinks point of sale (POS) system
  • Accountable for cash and check transactions
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:
  • No experience necessary; we will train
  • Must be able to meet age requirement for serving alcohol and have obtained a Certified Food Handler's Card

Other Qualifications:
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Experience using point of sale (POS) systems
