Auto Liquidators Plus is a family-owned dealership organization with 3 area locations in Dallas, Tyler & Waco, TX.  Auto Liquidators has been in business for over 35 years and we are continuing to grow. As a result of our success, we are seeking a leader and mentor for the position of General Sales Manager to oversee our company’s sales department operations.   

In the GSM role you will:

• Work closely with all store Sales Managers to successfully lead, coach, and train automotive sales and  BDC representatives 

• Monitor all store sales and BDC activity, appointments, and call follow-ups

• Track performance metrics and help the team meet sales goals

• Support business development to maintain & grow marketshare

• Work with other management in the development of customer relationship strategies

• Maintain a positive, motivated sales environment

• Ensure outstanding customer service throughout the sales process

• Work closely with underwriting and senior management team

What We Seek:

• 3+ Years Management Experience-Automotive General Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Used Car Manager, or Experienced Desk Manager Preferred

• BHPH Dealership Experience is a Plus

• Sales Managers from other industries seeking a career in the Auto Industry

• College Graduates w/ Degrees in Finance or Sales/Marketing/Business Administration

• BHPH Sales Consultant w/ a College Degree looking to advance 

• Underwriting Experience is a PLUS

• Strong Leadership, Mentoring & Management Skills

• Excellent Analytical Skills to recognize changing trends in the market & store performance in addition to reading credit reports

• Strong Problem Solving Skills

• Strong Organizational Skills with the ability to Multi-Task and manage ALL aspects of running the department

• Excellent People & Communication Skills

• Good Computer Skills

• Must be willing to Travel Between Locations Regularly

• Must be Ethical and Honest

• Must be Reliable, Punctual, and Motivated

• Bilingual Skills (Spanish & English) is a Plus

• DMS, CRM, Microsoft Excel, Reporting Software, AI Software, Social Media Experience/Knowledge are a Plus
