Job description
Brandt Truck & Trailers is currently seeking a Rental Manager - Transportation for our Nisku Truck and Trailer location. This position is responsible for the management of all trucks and trailers held in our rental fleet.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Asset management – from initial purchase, through life cycle and liquidation of the asset
- Growth of fleet assets, forecasting seasonal and annual equipment needs
- P&L on all assets held in the fleet
- Fleet maintenance planning and costing
- Transportation and assignment of assets throughout the Brandt dealer infrastructure
- Managing contracts and insurance for fleet equipment
- Work with area Sales Managers and Territory Managers, to build the Transportation Rental Business in Western Canada
- Participate in all sales opportunities, and close competitive sales
- Ensure good working relationships between our customers and maintain customer loyalty
- Manage and maintain customer accounts and profiles
- Travel as needed within Western Canada

Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient use of Great Plains would be an asset.
- Previous accounting experience is considered an asset
- Educational Requirements
- High School Graduate
- Post-Secondary Education considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as work individually with minimal supervision
- Goal orientated and driven to exceed targets
- Ability to continuously learn and adapt to new technology and programs
