Join Red Stag LLC as an experienced Class A CDL Tanker Driver in the Utica, NY area and earn a $2,500 sign-on bonus in addition to competitive pay, dedicated freight, and year-round work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load raw milk from dairy farms into tanker trailers using proper food-grade procedures
  • Transport liquid dairy products to designated processing plants on scheduled routes
  • Complete live unload deliveries as required
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routing, delays, and operational issues
  • Conduct daily inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment
  • Follow all food safety, handling, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and ELD documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations
  • Maintain professional relationships with farmers and customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
  • Minimum age 23
  • Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
  • Minimum 1 year of liquid tanker or food-grade hauling experience
  • Dairy industry experience preferred (4+ years ideal)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain milk handler certification
  • Valid DOT medical card and insurable driving record
  • Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and Hours of Service regulations
  • Ability to drop and hook trailers
  • Ability to climb ladders and inspect trailer seals
  • Strong navigation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks as needed

Must be able to bend, stoop, pull, climb, kneel, crouch, squat, lift 50 pounds, sit for an extended period, and reach overhead
