Tankerman

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: serving a maritime work schedule of thirty days aboard a vessel along with fifteen off; conducting cargo transfers; typical deck work aboard a towing vessel i.e. making/breaking tow, housekeeping aboard the vessel; Responsible for repairs to equipment found to be deficient and or reporting these deficiencies to proper personnel; insure that cargo transfer operations are conducted in compliance with current U.S. Coast Guard regulations and Company policies. Requirements and Qualifications Include: Experience in Maritime/shore tankering; High School Diploma or GED; Valid drivers license; Must possess a Merchant Mariners credential with a tankerman endorsement and be prepared to show endorsements.

The Tankerman position offers flexible schedules of 30/15, 30/30/ and 15/15 as well as a sign on bonus of 2000 dollars.
