Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform GTAW and GMAW welding on stainless steel sheet, plate, pipe, and tubing
  • Fabricate and weld components into assemblies according to shop drawings and specifications  
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and shop instructions
  • Maintain consistent weld quality that meets internal standards and customer requirements
  • Perform fit-up, tack welding, and final weld-out of parts and assemblies
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and weld integrity
  • Operate fabrication equipment and tools (grinders, polishers, saws, layout tools, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of production welding experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in GTAW and GMAW welding processes
  • Ability to successfully complete a 3G stainless steel plate weld test.
  • Experience welding stainless steel in a fabrication or production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Ability to use and read tape measure and caliper tools
  • Strong understanding of weld quality requirements, including appearance and consistency
  • Ability to work 8 hour shift standing, walking and using stairs
  • Ability to routinely move and lift up to 50 lbs
