Overview
Golf Course Starters are responsible for maintaining starting times, tee sheets, and ensuring golfers get to their first tee in a prompt and orderly manner. They are an important part of making sure customers have a pleasant golfing experience.
Job Duties
  • Monitors the 1st and 10th tee starting times and verifies green free receipts (Essential)
  • Monitors the flow of play from one nine to the next and advises pro shop team or General Manager of any potential issues (Essential)
  • Collaborates with pro shop team members to ensure tee time sheet is up to date (Essential)
  • Ensures all residents and guests adhere to the golf course dress code
  • Assists golfers to find a game if they are playing alone
  • Markets the golf course memberships and special rates to the daily fee players
  • Communicates with residents and guests of the golf course in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet
  • Must have a valid driver's license
