Role Summary

A Cart Barn and Bag Room Attendant manages the daily outside operations of a golf course, ensuring members and guests receive high-level customer service, clean equipment, and smooth staging before and after their rounds. This role is responsible for the details and cleanliness of the golf cart fleet, be sure carts are full of gas or charged, and supplies are accurately stocked. You will provide unparalleled service to our members and guests. 


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome players
  • Stage carts in proper staging area prepared to service players as they arrive
  • Detail staged carts in the morning as needed
  • Be attentive and “ready” to service the member/guest at bag drop
  • Remove golf bags from vehicles or storage room and load onto carts
  • Wash range balls and towels daily
  • Remove bags from carts and return to either the member’s/guest’s vehicle or storage area
  • Return carts to storage area removing towels, pencils, score cards, tees, trash, etc. from carts and reuse appropriate items
  • Wash and detail carts before parking to charge overnight
  • Properly plug carts in for charging for the night

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
  • Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.
  • Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors).
  • Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.

Pay

$14.50 -$15.00 per hour (depending on education and experience)
