  • Document, maintain, and support the development of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs clearly and thoroughly using internal tracking systems.
  • Follow defects through the full development lifecycle, verifying fixes and ensuring resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, artists, and producers to clarify expected behavior and validate functionality.
  • Support milestone testing, feature validation, and regression testing cycles.
  • Coordinate with external QA partners or testers as needed.
  • Provide actionable feedback on usability, performance, and overall player experience.
  • Assist with compliance checks and platform-specific requirements when applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3+ years of Game QA experience within a development studio required.
  • Experience designing and executing structured test plans and regression testing processes.
  • Proficiency managing defects through workflows using tools such as Jira, Hansoft, ShotGrid, or similar.
  • Experience working embedded with development teams in an Agile or iterative environment.
  • Familiarity coordinating with external QA vendors or test teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for games and delivering high-quality player experiences.
  • Prior experience shipping a game from development through release.
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine (UE4 or UE5) is preferred, but not required.
