Familiarity with studio protocols and posing techniques is helpful, though professional models may have portfolios or experience with art classes. Reliability, punctuality, and comfort with body confidence are important soft skills that help foster a respectful and productive studio environment. Stretching before and after sessions and practicing mindfulness can help reduce discomfort. Models are usually part of a respectful, professional environment, and many find that confidence grows with experience and support from artists and staff.
