The Wireless Voice and Data Core Team is responsible for end-to-end core network strategy, architecture, development and deployment, including service orchestration and automation. We design, develop, maintain, and support the Core Wireless Network and its services.

We create previously impossible solutions to deliver unique and rich wireless experiences for our customers. These innovative solutions revolutionize connectivity, enhance quality of life, and spark global innovation by enabling cellular networks and expanding access to the digital world.


You will play a pivotal role in redefining customer experiences by providing strategic guidance, managing change, and leveraging state-of-the-art security and AI to deliver reliable, cost-effective products.

What you'll do

  • Lead architecture, design, and development of IMS and Wireless Voice Core systems (P/I/S-CSCF, SBC, TAS, ENUM, MRF/BGF)
  • Design and support voice services including VoLTE, VoWiFi, emergency services, roaming, and interconnect
  • Deploy and maintain scalable, carrier-grade IMS systems optimized for performance and cost-effectiveness
  • Create CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment
  • Analyze network performance and optimize architecture; resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop Methods of Procedure (MoP) documentation for configurations and troubleshooting
  • Lead testing, validation, and capacity planning across deployments
  • Collaborate with RAN, Packet Core, Policy, Infrastructure, and Database teams on integrated solutions
  • Manage vendor relationships and influence solution roadmaps
  • Work with Red Hat OpenStack, OpenShift, AWS, and containerized environments
  • Develop KPI dashboards and monitor performance metrics
  • Participate actively in Agile teams and roadmap discussions

What you bring

  • 10+ years in 3G/4G/5G Voice Core (architecture, design, implementation, operations)
  • Deep expertise in IMS architecture, interfaces (Gm, Cx, Dx, Sh, Rx, Rf, ISC, Mw), and call session control functions
  • Strong knowledge of signalling protocols: SIP, Diameter, H248, SS7, CAMEL, RTP/RTCP, GTP, and 5G protocols
  • 3GPP specifications and RFC standards expertise
  • Hands-on experience with multiple IMS vendors (Ericsson, Nokia); platform debugging and configuration
  • Strong understanding of Service-Based Architecture (SBA), LTE/5G Core, and subscriber data management (HSS/UDM)
  • Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS) and orchestration
  • Advanced troubleshooting with Netscout, Wireshark, and PCAP
  • TCP/IP networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP/IP/SCTP/Diameter)
  • CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab, Agile methodologies)
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools (Splunk, BigQuery, Looker)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field

  • Public Cloud Native Services (AWS, GCP) experience
  • Programming skills in Python, Ansible, or API development
