Job Title: Technician: Platform / Validation - III

Duration: Contract - 18 months

Pay Range: $30/hr  $33/hr (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking a Technician: Platform / Validation - III to join our onsite team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PC and server hardware assembly and debugging, Linux installation and administration, and high-speed networking and a proven ability to execute rack buildouts, maintain lab infrastructure, and resolve connectivity issues for remote users.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and configure server systems, including installing cards and components.
  • Execute wiring changes and install servers within data center racks.
  • Install, update, and maintain Linux operating systems on lab and production hosts.
  • Debug PC hardware platforms and validate platform functionality.
  • Support remote users and troubleshoot connectivity and access issues.
  • Follow technical directions and standard operating procedures accurately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years installing, running, and administering Linux operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience building and debugging PC and server hardware platforms.
  • Working knowledge of high-speed networking and rack-level cabling.
  • Ability to support remote users and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required for US candidates.
  • At least 5 years of related work experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with lab environments and VM administration.
  • Knowledge of Intel inventory system (ISMP) and Intel shipping system (ISM).
