By Light Professional IT Services LLC readies warfighters and federal agencies with technology and systems engineered to connect, protect, and prepare individuals and teams for whatever comes next. Headquartered in McLean, VA, By Light supports defense, civilian, and commercial IT customers worldwide. Responsibilities * Support administration and maintenance of computer systems and network infrastructure.
* Administer and support Windows Enterprise and Linux server operating systems.
* Support cloud, physical, and virtualized infrastructure environments.
* Monitor infrastructure performance and operational readiness.
* Configure and maintain virtualization platforms including VMware, KVM, and Xen.
* Assist with troubleshooting system, server, and network issues.
* Support infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and configuration activities.
* Maintain system documentation and operational records.
* Coordinate with internal teams to support operational requirements. Required Experience/Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT II requirements.
* Minimum 2 years of experience working with computer systems.
* Experience with Windows Enterprise and Linux server administration.
* Experience supporting cloud, physical, and virtual infrastructure environments.
* Experience with hypervisors including VMware, KVM, and Xen.
* Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
