BAS Controls Technician - Bay Area (San Francisco to San Jose) - $40-$75/hour + Full Benefits + Company VehicleAbout the Opportunity:

A well-established mechanical and energy solutions provider is seeking experienced BAS Controls Technicians to support commercial facilities throughout the Bay Area. This field-focused role centers on troubleshooting, service, and programming of advanced Building Automation Systems (BAS) for a wide range of clients.

Position Details:
  • Title: BAS Controls Technician
  • Location: San Francisco-San Jose Corridor
  • Compensation: $40.00 - $75.00/hour (based on experience)
  • Status: Full-Time
  • Included: Company Truck or Van, Phone, Laptop, Tools
Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, service, and resolve issues in BAS/DDC systems within commercial buildings
  • Program and commission control logic for HVAC and energy management systems
  • Provide on-site technical expertise and customer support
  • Collaborate internally on retrofit and service strategies for complex BAS challenges
  • Review system trends, alarms, and operational data for performance optimization
  • Work both independently and as part of a coordinated field team
