Job description

Our client is searching for an Embedded Software Developer for a temp-to-perm position in Houston, TX.
***All candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis and no sponsorship is available now or in the future***
***All candidates must have professional experience providing embedded software development using Linux, C++, and Python***
Candidates must have experience building and adopting AI-assisted engineering workflows -agent-driven tooling and autonomous engineering processes - that measurably improve software quality and engineering velocity.
Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain the engineering tools and infrastructure supporting embedded Linux development.
Build and optimize automated firmware build, test, packaging, provisioning, flashing, recovery, and release pipelines.
Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and board-farm automation for firmware validation and regression testing.
Integrate static analysis, automated testing, and quality gates into the software development lifecycle.
Partner with firmware, hardware, and QA engineers to solve complex technical challenges and continuously improve engineering processes.
All candidates must submit to a drug and background check.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $68.00/hr.
