Linux Engineer

General Description:
The position will be responsible to support EDM application operations as tier 2, and supervise a team of EDM technicians (Tier1). Technical lead/Supervisor will provide guideline and SOP for member to follow on their day to day jobs and will process escalated tickets until resolution. Technical Lead will provide the necessary training to the team based on their specialty.

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Technical lead will act as a liaison among shift member, system engineers, and other stakeholders.
2. Technical lead will be responsible for creating SOP, managing KPI to improve job performance, providing training to members, making the drill scenario and conducting the drill test/evaluation, providing technical support on the second level issues escalated by tier 1 staff, contacting HQ EDM team to get the 3rd level support, analyzing user requirements and providing the feedback.
3. Technical lead will be involved in improving the policy and procedure, helping and guiding any technical questions and issues from shift member.
4. Technical lead support Manager with MBO definition and evaluation for team members, participate in management meetings, and provide reports as needed.

6 years or more of experience supporting/troubleshooting applications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience.
Written and verbal communication skills in Korean AND English.
More than 5 year experience in using Linux OS.
Skill Set: this position required server and application experience and above middle level technical experience on CentOS, Rocky or RedHat Linux experience.
Leadership: reporting skill for Senior and above leadership weekly, Monthly and Team evaluations
Preferred:
Experience in operating middle ware system like Apache or Tomcat and in supporting regular preventive maintenance.
Customer service experience with strong emphasis on manufacturing system knowledge
Work with team members to resolve issues and ensure proper integration with other related systems
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adopt to changes
Understand the impact of software upgrades to systems and the impact on the user community
Basic understanding of networks, servers, Applications, OS and databases, MS Office
