• Design,develop, and maintain the software, automation systems, and productioninfrastructure used to manufacture, program, calibrate, and verify Client’sproducts.
• Thisposition owns the software that operates factory programming stations,production test fixtures, calibration systems, and end-of-line manufacturingequipment.
• Responsibilitiesinclude developing automated manufacturing software, integrating withelectronic instrumentation, maintaining production traceability systems, andimproving manufacturing quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Thisrole works closely with embedded software, electrical, mechanical,manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to ensure products are efficientlymanufactured and thoroughly tested throughout their lifecycle.

• Design,develop, test, and maintain software for manufacturing test fixtures andproduction equipment.
• Ownall software used to manufacture, program, calibrate, and verify Client’sproducts.
• Developautomated production tests for printed circuit boards, subassemblies, andcompleted robotic systems.
• Developsoftware used to program embedded processors, Linux systems, microcontrollers,EEPROMs, and other programmable devices.
• Designand implement production test sequences, pass/fail criteria, automateddiagnostics, and manufacturing workflows.
• Integratesoftware with manufacturing equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes,digital multimeters, electronic loads, relay controllers, programmers, barcodescanners, label printers, RF test equipment, and other electronicinstrumentation.
• Developsoftware that communicates with embedded devices using USB, Ethernet, UART,SPI, I²C, CAN, JTAG, SWD, and other hardware interfaces.
• Collect,store, and manage manufacturing test results, calibration data, serial numbers,firmware versions, and production traceability information.
• Investigatemanufacturing failures, determine root causes, and implement correctiveactions.
• Improvemanufacturing throughput, product quality, and production yield throughsoftware automation.
• Developreusable software frameworks for manufacturing and production testing.
• Developengineering tools to assist with hardware bring-up, production debugging, andfailure analysis.
• Createand maintain manufacturing software documentation, operating procedures, andtest specifications.

• Proficiencyin Python.
• Strongsoftware architecture and maintainable software design skills.
• Experiencedeveloping automated manufacturing, production, or hardware test software.
• Experienceworking in a Linux environment.
• Experiencecommunicating with embedded systems using USB, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I²C, CAN,JTAG, SWD, or similar interfaces.
• Experienceinterfacing with electronic test equipment such as SCPI, VISA, PyVISA, orsimilar frameworks.
• Experiencedesigning software that integrates with production fixtures and manufacturingequipment.
• Experiencewith databases, production traceability systems, or manufacturing datacollection.
• Strongdebugging and troubleshooting skills involving both hardware and software.
• Experiencewith Git and modern software development practices.
• Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.
• Abilityto independently lead projects from concept through deployment.

• Bachelorof Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering,or equivalent experience.
• 3+years of professional manufacturing software development experience.
• Proficiencyin Python.
• Experiencedeveloping software on Linux.
• Experiencedeveloping automated test, manufacturing, or production software.
• Experienceinterfacing with embedded hardware.
• Experiencewith common hardware communication interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, UART, SPI,or I²C.
• Strongproblem-solving and debugging skills.

• Experiencewith C++ and/or C.
• Experiencewith embedded Linux systems.
• Experiencewith robotics or autonomous systems.
• Experiencewith microcontroller firmware development.
• Experiencewith OpenCV or basic image processing.
• Experiencedeveloping graphical user interfaces using PySide, PyQt, or similar frameworks.
• Experiencewith SQL, SQLite, PostgreSQL, or manufacturing databases.
• Experiencewith Docker and CI/CD systems.
• Familiaritywith Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Experiencesupporting contract manufacturing operations.

Security Clearances: There is nosecurity clearance required at this time, but applicant must be capable ofworking in the United States and obtaining a security clearance if required.

Education/Experience:Bachelor of Science in manufacturing engineering, computer science, computerengineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.

Language Ability: Ability to read,analyze, and interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings,electrical schematics, manufacturing procedures, and software specifications.Ability to write technical documentation and effectively communicate withengineering and manufacturing teams.

Math Ability: Ability to performengineering calculations, analyze manufacturing data, and solve technicalproblems encountered during software development and production testing.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solvecomplex hardware and software integration problems involving embedded systems,manufacturing equipment, and automated production test systems.

Computer Skills: To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual should have knowledge of standard office software,Linux development environments, source control systems, scripting languages,integrated development environments, issue tracking systems, and manufacturingsoftware tools.
