  • Design,develop, and maintain the software, automation systems, and productioninfrastructure used to manufacture, program, calibrate, and verify Client’sproducts.
  • Thisposition owns the software that operates factory programming stations,production test fixtures, calibration systems, and end-of-line manufacturingequipment.
  • Responsibilitiesinclude developing automated manufacturing software, integrating withelectronic instrumentation, maintaining production traceability systems, andimproving manufacturing quality, reliability, and throughput.
  • Thisrole works closely with embedded software, electrical, mechanical,manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to ensure products are efficientlymanufactured and thoroughly tested throughout their lifecycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design,develop, test, and maintain software for manufacturing test fixtures andproduction equipment.
  • Ownall software used to manufacture, program, calibrate, and verify Client’sproducts.
  • Developautomated production tests for printed circuit boards, subassemblies, andcompleted robotic systems.
  • Developsoftware used to program embedded processors, Linux systems, microcontrollers,EEPROMs, and other programmable devices.
  • Designand implement production test sequences, pass/fail criteria, automateddiagnostics, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Integratesoftware with manufacturing equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes,digital multimeters, electronic loads, relay controllers, programmers, barcodescanners, label printers, RF test equipment, and other electronicinstrumentation.
  • Developsoftware that communicates with embedded devices using USB, Ethernet, UART,SPI, I²C, CAN, JTAG, SWD, and other hardware interfaces.
  • Collect,store, and manage manufacturing test results, calibration data, serial numbers,firmware versions, and production traceability information.
  • Investigatemanufacturing failures, determine root causes, and implement correctiveactions.
  • Improvemanufacturing throughput, product quality, and production yield throughsoftware automation.
  • Developreusable software frameworks for manufacturing and production testing.
  • Developengineering tools to assist with hardware bring-up, production debugging, andfailure analysis.
  • Createand maintain manufacturing software documentation, operating procedures, andtest specifications.
