dans ce rôle pratique qui requiert une expertise technique au sein de l'écosystème Explorance

(réseau interne de l'entreprise, infrastructure cloud publique et privée, réseaux clients, technologie cloud SaaS, etc.).

Vous assurerez l'administration système et le conseil technique pour l'analyse, la conception, l'évaluation, la standardisation, la mise en œuvre et la maintenance des systèmes Linux physiques et virtuels et du matériel et des logiciels réseau associés. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes Ingénierie, SecOps et Opérations Cloud afin de garantir une approche globale du dépannage et de la mise en œuvre de mesures préventives, garantissant ainsi la surveillance, la tolérance aux pannes et la sécurité du système. Le candidat retenu possédera une expérience professionnelle exceptionnelle et s'épanouira dans un environnement exigeant en matière de responsabilisation. Vous serez un membre clé d'une équipe qui comprend la vision globale et privilégie le client. Vous possédez des compétences techniques exceptionnelles et aimez résoudre des problèmes complexes.

Principales responsabilités :

  • Déployer, configurer et maintenir des machines physiques et/ou virtuelles sous Linux afin de fournir des environnements informatiques stables et sécurisés dans les centres de données distants et sur site.
  • Maintenir et surveiller l’intégrité de l’infrastructure (matérielle et logicielle) et de l’environnement d’exploitation. Cela inclut le système d’exploitation Linux, les performances système et la sécurité des accès ; résolution des problèmes de déploiement, de configuration et d’intégration dans les environnements de développement, de test et de production.
  • Rechercher, installer, tester et déployer les mises à jour et correctifs matériels et logiciels.

  • Expertise des technologies open source, de la virtualisation et des services cloud, notamment l'hyperviseur ProxMox.
  • Expérience en configuration, scripting et automatisation.
  • Expérience des serveurs web et des équilibreurs de charge (Nginx, HAProxy, etc.) et du stockage open source CEPH.
  • Expérience avec Kubernetes, Redis et RabbitMQ.
  • Connaissance des infrastructures de surveillance et de journalisation, notamment Prometheus, Grafana et la journalisation centralisée.
  • Solide connaissance des réseaux TCP/IP et des services réseau associés (DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc.), des pare-feu (tables IP) et des VLAN.

As a Linux System Administrator, you will be an essential member of the CloudOps team in this hands-on role that requires technical expertise within the Explorance ecosystem (corporate internal network, public and private cloud infrastructure, clients' networks, SaaS cloud technology, etc).


Provide system administration and technical guidance in analysis, design, evaluation, standardization, implementation, and maintenance of physical and virtual Linux systems and associated network hardware and software. You will work closely and collaborate with the Engineering, SecOps and Cloud Operations teams to ensure a holistic approach to troubleshooting and implementing preventative measures; ensuring the system is well monitored, fault tolerant, and secured. The successful candidate will possess an outstanding record of professional experience and will thrive in an environment that demands accountability. You will be a key member of a team that understands the big picture perspective, and instills a customer first attitude. You have exceptional technical skills, and enjoy solving challenging problems.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deploying, configuring and maintaining physical and/or virtual machines with Linux OS to provide stable and secure computing environments in remote data centers, and on premise.
  • Maintaining and monitoring the integrity of the infrastructure (hardware and software) and operating environment. This includes the Linux OS, system performance and security access; troubleshooting deployment, configuration and integration issues in development, test and production environments.
  • Research, install, test and deploy HW & SW updates and patches.
  • Collaborate with application support teams to share and document knowledge and operational run books
  • Assist with urgent issues including on being part of an on-call rotation to provide 2nd level troubleshooting support when required

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Technical expertise in the infrastructure design and system administration of bare metal, VM and orchestrated deployments; operation, maintenance and security of Linux servers.
  • Expertise with open-source technologies, virtualization and cloud services, including ProxMox hypervisor.
  • Experience with configuration, scripting and automation.
  • Experience with web servers and load balancers (Nginx, HAProxy, etc.) and CEPH open-source SW-defined storage.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Redis and RabbitMQ
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging infrastructure, include Prometheus, Grafana, centralized logging
  • Solid knowledge of TCPIP networking and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, …), Firewalls (IPtables), VLANs
  • Effective communication regarding system operations and environment changes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong work ethic.
