Job Description Job Title: Oracle EBS DBA Location: Montreal (in-office daily) Job Type: Full-time salaried role OR Contract The Oracle EBS DBA will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for end-to-end database administration, with a primary focus on vulnerability remediation and CPU patching. This role handles escalated incident response, root cause analysis, change management, and technical mentorship for junior (L1) DBAs. Responsibilities: 1.
Core Administration & Remediation Execute vulnerability remediation and independent CPU patching across production systems as the primary operational focus. Manage installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and support for Oracle Database production servers. Perform database refreshes, object reorganizations, indexing, space management, and datafile administration.
Execute backup and recovery operations using RMAN, including handling complex database recovery scenarios. Manage database user access, security, and audit concepts. 2.
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Operations Administer Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x, including ADOP patching, ad-utilities, product patching, and EBS cloning. Configure and maintain EBS Workflow Mailer and GL modules. 3
Incident & Change Management Provide resolution and root cause analysis (RCA) for P1 through P4 incidents, proactive maintenance, and complex troubleshooting.
