About the Role
Join the BITS team within Twitch's Commerce organization, where we're revolutionizing how viewers engage with their favorite creators. We are the team behind Cheering, Power-ups and Charity products - tools that turn watching into an interactive adventure. From experimental features to established systems used by millions, we're constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in live streaming.
This position and team are based in Seattle, WA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of professional software development experience
- A track record of building consumer-facing products that users love
- Mastery of modern programming languages and frameworks
- Sharp problem-solving skills with a focus on algorithms, data structures, and schema design
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with Twitch's tech stack: Golang, Typescript/React
- Experience with AWS technologies like ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions
- A passion for gaming, streaming, or the Twitch platform
