Job description

The Marketing Specialist is a hybrid creative designer + project manager responsible for delivering high‑quality visual assets, coordinating cross‑functional workflows, and managing end‑to‑end production. The Marketing Specialist partners with product marketing, communications, engineering, sales enablement, digital teams, and external vendors to deliver aligned, on-brand creative assets. They manage intake, scoping, scheduling, approvals, and production workflows to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery of marketing materials. This role requires a strong balance of creativity, organization, and collaboration. Maintains graphic standards as established for specific product brands. This role is results-oriented, a team player, excellence-driven, and has a strong work ethic and integrity. The Marketing Specialist applies attention to detail and organizational skills to be responsible for the management of various marketing materials and production needs.

Position Responsibilities may include:

  • Develop high‑quality visual/marketing assets across print, digital, social, environmental, and presentation channels
  • Supporting and execution of content and copywriting needs
  • Maintain and enhance design systems, brand templates, and asset libraries
  • Provide design, editing, illustration, and layout execution 
  • Ensure all deliverables uphold brand standards and visual identity guidelines.
  • Manage creative projects from intake through scoping, timelines, reviews, approvals, and final delivery to channel and appropriate publishing/distribution 
  • Facilitate communication with cross‑functional partners, clarifying requirements and priorities
  • Coordinate work with internal production teams and external vendors to ensure accuracy and timely output
  • Document project milestones, maintain organized files, and support workflow optimization
  • Support campaigns, product launches, and cross‑channel creative needs
  • Contribute to pre‑production planning and assist with render, video, and photo needs
  • Provide conceptual design thinking, creative insight, and feedback during planning and review sessions
  • Serve as a brand and design resource for marketing and business partners
  • Perform additional duties as needed
  • Participate in additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs

Nature & Scope:

  • Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
  • Manages projects and processes while working independently and with limited supervision
  • Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals 
  • Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); digital first design tools preferred
  • Strong understanding of print production, digital asset creation, and design systems
  • Effective project and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; able to articulate concepts and guide stakeholders
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to independently drive tasks to completion
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
  • Familiarity with both Mac and PC design workflows

Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in graphic design, creative services, or marketing communications
  • Experience working within matrixed or cross-functional environments preferred
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • HVAC experience would be nice to have but is not required.

Education/Certification:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Media Arts, or Project Management in a creative capacity (in-house and/or agency), or equivalent professional experience

  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings. Some travel may be required.
