Job description

This Digital Specialist role at Ergodyne reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and helps execute and scale our digital marketing efforts, with a specific focus on advertising and email. You'll build email campaigns and automated programs while strengthening how we segment and manage audience data and uphold privacy, consent, and email compliance standards.
On the advertising side, you'll manage paid non-traditional media campaigns-planning, launching and optimizing across platforms. You'll coordinate creative and targeting, track budgets and performance, and identify opportunities to improve results over time.
Your work will support product launches, promotions, and lead generation while improving how we connect with customers throughout their journey.
This role is based in our St Paul office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays.
You have already accomplished (required):
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
  • 3+ yrs experience executing digital marketing campaigns (email and paid media)
  • Experience with email list management and automation (Dotdigital preferred)
  • Paid media experience across Google, LinkedIn, Amazon, Meta, or similar
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with GA, Looker Studio and ad platforms

You may have already accomplished (preferred):
  • Experience with email deliverability, list hygiene and subscriber growth
  • Experience supporting B2B and B2C digital marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with ecommerce, PIM or CRM platforms (Drupal, Salsify, NetSuite)

Job Duties
  • Email Campaign Execution: Build, deploy and optimize email marketing campaigns that support product launches, promotions, thought leadership and customer engagement initiatives. Coordinate closely with marketing leaders and the creative team to ensure messaging aligns with campaign objectives and brand standards.
  • CRM & Audience Segmentation: Manage email lists, audience segments, and data hygiene within the CRM and marketing automation platforms. Ensure accurate targeting, segmentation and list growth strategies that improve campaign performance and maintain strong data integrity across systems such as Dotdigital and NetSuite.
  • Email Automation Programs: Support the development and expansion of automated email programs including nurture campaigns, triggered emails, and lifecycle marketing initiatives. Help build scalable workflows that improve customer engagement and move leads through the sales journey.
  • Paid Advertising Management: Lead the execution of Ergodyne's paid non-traditional digital advertising efforts. Build and manage campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, Amazon, and other relevant channels to support marketing initiatives and product launches.
  • Campaign Alignment & Collaboration: Partner with creative and digital teams to ensure alignment across email, advertising and landing page experiences. Coordinate campaign timing, messaging and audience targeting while ensuring campaigns support website strategy, SEO initiatives and overall marketing KPIs.
  • Campaign Performance & Optimization: Track budgets, pacing and performance across email and advertising campaigns. Execute testing and experimentation to improve results and analyze performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Press Release Management: Lead the development and distribution of press releases using Meltwater, supporting product launches and key brand initiatives. Curate and refine media contact lists to improve targeting and reach, while tracking performance to optimize future PR efforts and expand media coverage.
  • Innovation & Growth: Support the exploration and adoption of new tools, platforms, and AI-driven capabilities that help scale Ergodyne's marketing efforts while improving efficiency and campaign performance.
