Job description
- Assist with client intake, screenings, and mental health assessments.
- Encourage clients to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives, helping them to develop insight into themselves or their relationships.
- Evaluate clients' mental condition, based on review of client information, results of assessment tools and observation.
- Support the development and implementation of individualized service plans in collaboration with other clinical staff.
- Guide clients in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with their challenges.
- Provide care coordination services to clients, including linkage to medical, behavioral health and community resources.
- Work closely with clients to ensure access to supportive services and adherence to their treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational and grants requirements.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments to patient treatment plans as appropriate.
- Provide general support, encouragement, and psychoeducation to clients and families.
- Participate in supervision, trainings, and team meetings to support professional growth.
- Perform other duties as requested,
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Willing to relocate to Georgia, USA.
- Permanent license LMSW and willing to pursuing licensure in the state of Georgia.
- Experience or strong interest in working with individuals with mental health disorders.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage diverse populations with a culturally responsive and trauma-informed approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Fully Bilingual (Spanish amp; English).
