Job description

Job Overview
This position provides telephone support to pharmacy patients, providers and pharmacies ensuring that patients are eligible for and receive prescribed medications in an accurate and timely manner via appropriate delivery methods. This includes patient tracking, customer service, issue resolution and/or escalation.
Responsibilities
  • Complete intake process for mail order, specialty, transplant, and limited distribution pharmacy patients including new patient enrollment, insurance verification, and medication refill and delivery schedule.
  • Under the direction of the pharmacist, receive prescription/orders from patients, process manually or using the appropriate computer system and protocols in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all legal, regulatory agency and Fairview requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Three months pharmacy technician experience
  • Pharmacy Technician MN

Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of Pharmacy Technician program
  • 1 year pharmacy technician experience in a call center environment
