Job description

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • The Director is responsible for the operation of Pharmacy Services, including strategic planning, day-to-day operations, pharmaceutical care, clinical and distributive services, financial management and personnel management.  Pharmacy Services includes both inpatient and ambulatory pharmacy locations and services.
  • EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum Required:
      • BS Pharmacy or Pharm D., Valid NC license to practice pharmacy. Substantial experience as a hospital pharmacist
    • Preferred:
      • Above, plus an MBA or MPH. Pharmacy Practice Residency (or equivalent) with Board of Pharmacy Specialty (BPS) certification. .
      • Incumbent will be required to attain a minimum of 15 hours of ACPE approved continuing education annually.
