Job description

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Serves as a resource for, and evaluates appropriateness of drug therapy. Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, manufacturing compounding, repackaging, relabeling, dispensing and control of medications, intravenous fluids and other pharmaceuticals products.
  • EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum Required:
      • BS Pharmacy or Pharm D. Valid NC license to practice pharmacy prior to staffing assignments.
      • Incumbent will be required to attain a minimum of 15 hours of ACPE approved continuing education credit annually.
    • Preferred:
      • Above plus prior hospital experience, Pharmacy Practice or Specialty Residency.
