The Tunnel Operator is responsible for loading and unloading tunnel washers and dryers, following the correct operational instructions.

Duties:

  • Loading and unloading tunnel washers with proper linen weights and the correct wash formula.

  • Loading and unloading dryers.

  • Frequently lift and move large quantities of linen.

  • Monitor equipment and report any safety issues to Management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.

  • Lift over 40 pounds consistently.

  • Basic knowledge and use of computers.

  • Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadline pressures.

  • Good vision and hearing capabilities to ensure safety while working around equipment.

  • Must be able to speak and understand English.
