At Tahiti Village Resort & Spa we are looking for energetic, professional team player with excellent communications skills. Positive attitude to deliver great customer experience and support our mission to create memorable experiences for ours guests.


ROLE

To pre-load the GRA carts, maintain linen & supplies in closets, distribute linen to correct closets and remove dirty linen to staging areas in order to increase safety and productivity.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Physically check and properly fold linen before stocking on GRA cart.
  • Load required amount of linen and terry into GRA Cart.
  • Place the required amenities into Cart.
  • Fill and place bottles in chemical caddy, return to assigned cart, and refill all required cleaning supplies including PPE.
  • Make sure every GRA cart has a cleaning vacuum with a clean vacuum bag, return to assigned cart.
  • Place stocked cart in designated area.
  • Collect linen from clean staging areas and distribute to appropriate closets/areas as instructed.
  • Collect linen from dirty staging areas and relocate to vendor pick-up area.
  • Clean and organize locker area.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Required to stock up to 30 GRA carts

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Six (6) months experience in some area of housekeeping or janitorial preferable.
  • Basic knowledge on handling devices and radios.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, holiday and weekends.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Capability to understand fundamental English.
  • Working knowledge of chemicals/ cleaning supplies including Safety Data Sheet and OSHA regulations, preferable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to bend, kneeling and stretching most of the working day.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration and air quality.
