Job description

Position Title: Line Cook, Le Depot Brasserie
Company: Reef Capital/Le Depot Brasserie
Compensation: $21-22/hr; Benefits for full-time employees
Location: Park City, Utah
Reef is a Utah-based vertically integrated investment and development firm founded in 2005, with three primary lines of business: Investments, Real Estate, and Lifestyle. Reef's team is currently involved in some of the most prominent development transactions in Utah and other targeted geographies across the United States.
Reef has partnered with a growing restaurant group led by James Beard Award Winning located in the heart of Park City, Utah, an internationally renowned ski destination. Together, we have developed two new concepts: a 100 seat brasserie and bar (Le Depot Brasserie) and a French pastry & coffee shop (Union Patisserie).
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of our executive chef the Line Cook position is a mid level role in the kitchen, responsible for the prep and plating for hot appetizers, cookery of vegetables, starches, sauces, meats and fish with a variety of cooking methods and equipment for our outlets, including Le Depot French Brasserie and Union Patisserie. During service the Line Cook will work with the lead line cooks and Chef de Partie.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a great team player as well as possessing the ability to complete their individual tasks in a timely manner. We value hardworking team members that show an innate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and willingness to learn. Ideal candidates have relevant restaurant experience. Experience and knowledge of French cuisine is a plus.
Work Experience: 3+ years of restaurant experience is desired
Education: Degree in Culinary Arts is preferred
Required Skills:
  • Must speak and read English and have the legal ability to work in the United States
  • Must provide your own kitchen tools/ knives
  • Must have Department of Health Certification

Physical Requirements:
  • Most work tasks are performed indoors with some outdoor activities
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Ability to stand for long hours and lift 50lbs.
