General Description

This position is responsible to supervise, establish and coordinate the production schedules in a factory environment. Ensures the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between or within departments. Manages the production workers on the line to include performance and behavior standards along with meeting production schedules.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Inspires team members to learn, teach, and grow into empowered and engaged teams.

  • Engage with all team members and build strong relationships and understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and perspectives.

  • Promote the Empowered Ownership Model and help team member's work toward their strengths and goals.

  • Encourages everyone to hold themselves and each other accountable.

  • Collaborate with the team to schedule work to be performed at each workstation and team member/s to each station.

  • Ensure all team members work safely and have a safe work environment.

  • Facilitate Empowered Ownership work teams and represent department in meetings.

  • Lead and promote lean continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain attendance records, job procedures and ISO documentation.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of manufacturing, assembly operation, and/or leadership experience.

  • Must be accepting of feedback and open to developing and refining professional skills.

  • The ability to provide constructive feedback to others is critical to this position.

  • Demonstrated leadership characteristics: accountable, flexible, open minded, positive communication style, elevates others, proactive, and acts with integrity.

  • Ability to understand manufacturing processes, blueprints, and lean principles.

  • Creative problem solver, capable of making decisions independently and with the team.

  • Must hold an excellent work record with examples of personal/professional growth, dependability, and professionalism.

  • Leadership training and/or 2 years supervisory experience is a plus.
