We are on a journey of continuous growth - now looking for our next star - a passionate Assembly Line Lead.
This role is responsible to lead/supervise lines in assembly operations to assure the safe production of coolers of the highest quality.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all employees, both new and current, feel welcomed and are treated with respect as well as providing them with clear instructions/training along with the correct tools and PPE required.
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed and all accidents, hazards, near misses, and property damage are reported in the required time. Ensure that Safety and Quality requirements are in compliance.
  • Line Lead must reinforce the use of PPE at all times.
  • Line Leads are responsible for allowing restroom breaks as requested to employees assigned to their assembly line.
  • The FPI is required to be verified against the DJR and submitted for approval during the first 15 minutes of the shift.
  • Perform all pre-shift, during and at the end of the shift reporting in a timely and accurate way as well as 5 minutes quality and safety meeting. Reporting includes but is not limited to line clearance report, hourly production board update, foam parameters checks and end of the shift report.
  • Anytime there is any abnormal performance condition going on that keeps the line from achieving the expected Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Attainment or any other key indicator goal, the Line Lead must report it immediately to his/her supervisor for action to be taken to determine a resolution for the issue.
  • As a prerequisite all Line Leads are to be certified in all core positions (screw gunning, foaming, cleaning and drain plug installing).
  • Prior to shift start up or at product change over, Line Lead must verify that DJR (Discrete Job Report) match each component listed and the finish product as whole.
  • Ensure the goal for Efficiency and Attainment numbers are met, 95% or above. Report any issues that are keeping the line from reaching 95% or above, immediately to the supervisor.
  • Line Lead is required to fill out Scrap Tickets (Non-Conforming Material Ticket) during and at the end of the shift, ensuring they are filled out properly and accurately with all the required information. Also, these scrap tickets are to be submitted in a timely manner.
  • Once a toolbox is provided to the Line Lead, they are responsible to bring it to work, every day they are present.
  • Ensure that ALL unused components and materials are returned to warehouse at the end of run.
  • Line Lead is responsible for ALL production to be counted, tagged and sent to the warehouse at the end of run.
  • Troubleshoot solutions for technical problems, associated with assigned processes.
  • The work area(s) are required to be maintained in a clean and organized manner at all times.
  • Carry out other duties as may be required.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • Experience: Recommended but not required of one (1) year experience performing similar processes.
  • Supervisory skills: Minimum of six (6) months in supervisory/leadership role.
  • Language skills: Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
  • Math skills: Able to add, subtract, divide and multiply.
  • Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. multiple times a day during a 12-hour shift; Able to push up to 80 lbs. on rollers or wheels.
  • Bend and stand in difficult positions up to 12 hours.
  • Minimum height requirement of 60 inches.
  • Work environment: Hot & humid in summer months, cold during winter.

Standing & Walking
Roles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing.
Postural Requirements
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks.
Lifting & Material Handling
  • Operator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Technician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts.
  • Where possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used.

Fine Motor Skills & Tool Use
Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision.
Visual Requirements
Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation.
Environmental Conditions
  • Work is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100-120°F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter.
  • High noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task.
