The Opportunity:
The 3rd Shift Production Line Lead is responsible for overseeing a production line within the Flint Michigan Warehouse and ensuring maximum productivity and quality.
Hours: 10:30pm - 7:00am
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
How you will impact Packaging Solutions, Smurfit Westrock:
  • Partner with Team Leads to ensure staff members are assigned tasks as outlined in the work order and assist with training.
  • Work side by side with crew to prepare product for customers that include:
  • Pack product of varying type
  • Unpack/Repackage product of varying type
  • Build product bundles of supplies
  • Build mailing packets
  • Box printing
  • Box labeling

  • Receive new and returned product
  • Log and track production documentation
  • Ensure safety and quality standards at all times.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more year(s) experience leading a crew in a production environment: corrugated manufacturing plant environment preferred
  • General fluency in English required, verbal and written
  • Basic computer literacy.
