Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Buffet Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and maintaining a variety of buffet items in a high-volume food service environment. The ideal candidate has strong kitchen experience, good attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook buffet items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
  • Maintain your assigned kitchen station during service, keeping it clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Monitor buffet food levels and temperatures throughout service.
  • Cook, replenish, and rotate food as needed to keep the buffet fresh, full, and visually appealing.
  • Work closely with front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
  • Use proper knife skills and cooking techniques to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Assist with large-volume prep for daily buffet service, catering events, and special functions.
  • Stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots, pans, and supplies as needed.

Qualifications
