Paint Line Helper/Loader
As a Paint line helper/loader you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of parts onto and off the powder coating line. This role ensures proper part presentation for coating, maintains production flow, and supports overall line efficiency and quality.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
  • Hang parts onto overhead conveyor racks according to defined standards
  • Ensure proper orientation and spacing for optimal coating coverage driven by best practices
  • Follow standards and specifications; conduct inspections as necessary. Drive to line balancing and volume loading of parts
  • Select and use appropriate hooks, racks, and fixturing
  • Maintain consistent feed rate to support line throughput targets
  • Safely remove coated parts from conveyor after curing
  • Inspect parts for visible defects
  • Stage or package parts for next operation
  • Minimize down time and look for bottle necks to trouble shoot
  • Ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order and arrange for necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Segregate non-conforming parts for rework
  • Monitor and ensure that all painted parts meet quality standards for part orientation, rack density, and inspection
Required Skills:
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs; higher weights with mechanical assist
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding all powder paint processes
