Job description

The Sandtrap Sports Bar & Grill has been a neighborhood favorite in South KC since 1999. We’re known for our Italian-inspired daily specials, pub-style favorites, and the personal touches that come with being family-owned and operated. Every dish that leaves our kitchen reflects the same quality and care we’ve built our reputation on.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and cook menu items to Sandtraps’ quality and presentation standards.

  • Work efficiently on the line during high-volume shifts.

  • Assist with daily prep, stocking, and station setup.

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.

  • Communicate and coordinate with fellow cooks and FOH staff to keep service running smoothly.

  • Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency.

  • Prior line cook or kitchen experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person.
