Line Cook
The line cook ensures that each food item is prepared with the highest quality and care. Duties include accurately and efficiently cooking food as well as follow all guidelines, sanitation and basic safety in order to produce food according to the OPH standard.
Performance Expectations
• Accepts 100% responsibility for quality, food safety/sanitation and timeliness of products served
• Arrives on time for all scheduled shifts and meetings
• Makes menu items to meet quality, portion and time standards
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work space
• Practices good personal hygiene
• Timely and accurately completes prep list including stocking, rotating and clean-up
• Maintains line cleanliness (includes counter, cutting boards, floor, trash, etc.)
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows the opening and closing checklist for the kitchen stations completing deep clean projects as dictated by leadership
• Performs other related duties as assigned by leadership
• Assist co-workers with anything that is necessary or requested
• Asks questions whenever necessary
• Asks for help whenever necessary
