The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Business Product & Process Owner for the Enterprise ELN-LIMS System, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
• Defining the business vision, roadmap, and priorities for the enterprise ELN/LIMS platform in alignment with R&D, Quality, and enterprise objectives.
• Representing the voice of the business by defining needs, intended use, and value outcomes for laboratory workflows, data, and user experience.
• Leading workflow discovery, process harmonization, and requirements translation across R&D and Quality, converting business needs into prioritized backlog items, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Owning product backlog prioritization, balancing business value, compliance, user needs, and cross-functional dependencies across ELN and LIMS capabilities.
• Partnering with the Lab IT lead on implementation priorities, release planning, change readiness, and validation support to ensure business requirements are clear, traceable, and adoption-ready.
• Aligning R&D, Quality, Engineering, and IT stakeholders on priorities, tradeoffs, governance, and decisions needed to scale standardized and compliant ways of working.
• Driving business adoption and measurable value through stakeholder engagement, training alignment, process readiness, and continuous feedback.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM ( Science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics) discipline AND Ten (10) years' experience in a regulated industry in a private, public, government or military environment

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
  • One (1) year experience translating laboratory work into business needs or investment proposals
  • Two (2) years experience in a role requiring cross functional Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, (including but not limited to R&D, Quality, and IT partners around shared priorities).
  • Three (3) years experience working with ELN/LIMS platforms and laboratory processes, with the ability to partner effectively with technical teams.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Experience translating laboratory work flows directly into IT systems requirements, backlog items, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, business lead, or similar role supporting enterprise laboratory systems, digital products, or regulated business platforms.
  • Understanding of regulated environments, including quality system and electronic record expectations, traceability, and change control.
  • Experience supporting ELN/LIMS platforms in a regulated R&D, laboratory, or quality environment, with familiarity with electronic records, traceability, and data integrity expectations.
  • Certification or formal training in Business Process Redesign, Product Ownership, Agile delivery, business analysis, process improvement, or change management.
  • Experience leading cross-functional transformation or harmonization efforts across laboratory, quality, engineering, or manufacturing-related workflows.
  • Experience defining success metrics, adoption measures, or value realization approaches for enterprise digital products or platforms.
  • Proven experience facilitating cross-functional workshops, harmonizing processes, and driving decisions across diverse stakeholder groups.
    Demonstrated ability to prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, compliance risk, user needs, and operational impact.

Work location:
  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Eagan, MN at least 3 days per week)

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $163,200 - $224,400, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
