Join Our Team as an Analytical Chemist!

We're seeking a detail-oriented Analytical Chemist to join our lab team! What You'll Do as an Analytical Chemist:

Perform routine analytical testing using ICP-MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, and other laboratory instrumentation.

Prepare samples, standards, quality controls, and reagents using established laboratory procedures.

Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical instruments while reviewing data and documenting results.

Support LC-MS/MS method development, optimization, and verification as needed.

Rotate across laboratory workflows, including ICP-MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, MTT, and sample preparation, to support team priorities.

Coordinate daily laboratory activities, including sample receipt, testing schedules, documentation, and LIMS/LIS support.

Maintain laboratory readiness through instrument maintenance, inventory management, reagent preparation, supply tracking, waste documentation, and workspace organization.

Accurately document testing activities, equipment maintenance, deviations, investigations, and corrective actions in accordance with SOPs and quality standards.

Assist with investigations involving QC failures, instrument issues, documentation errors, and workflow improvements.

Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes, efficiency, and data integrity while maintaining compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Who You Are:

BS degree in Chemistry or another four-year science degree that includes at least two semesters of instrumental analysis.

2+ years of experience working in an accredited laboratory environment (ISO17025 preferred).

2+ years of hands-on analytical chemistry experience using HPLC instrumentation.

Experience with analytical sample preparation techniques, including solid-phase extraction and liquid/liquid extraction.

High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented laboratory environment.

Self-motivated with the ability to follow direction while also working independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ICP-MS trace metals analysis in blood, urine, supplements, raw materials, or other complex matrices.

Experience with LC-MS/MS method development, optimization, troubleshooting, verification, or transfer.

Experience with HPLC testing, data review, sample preparation, calibration, QC review, and troubleshooting.

Experience in a regulated laboratory environment, such as CLIA, CAP, ISO, GMP, or similar quality systems.

Experience with LIMS, eQMS, inventory systems, dashboards, or laboratory data tracking tools.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for extended periods of time and lift or move materials weighing up to 30 lbs.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Full-time, exempt position in a laboratory environment. Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:00pm with flexibility as business needs require.
