Since 1986, VFC Lightning Protection has been providing its customers with complete turnkey installations throughout the United States. We are seeking motivated individuals who are interested in a rewarding career installing lightning protection.

You must be...
  • 18 years of age or older
  • A high school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Able to pass a medical exam, including a drug test
  • A licensed driver
  • Able to submit a clean Motor Vehicle Report
  • Able to lift up to 80 pounds
  • Comfortable on ladders and roofs
  • Honest, hardworking and enjoy working outdoors
*Construction experience is a plus
Duties
  • Installation of projects on high roofs and grounding
  • Read construction plans and blueprints
  • Handle and install lightning protection cable
  • Comply with onsite safety regulations
  • Work in a team environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Our Apprenticeship Program
We have a two-year apprenticeship program leading to a certification as a Lightning Protection Installer. The program requires dedication to the work and study material but includes regular steps towards pay increases and leadership. Upon completion of the program, the Certified Installer has a rewarding career ahead of them with a diverse, exciting, and growing company.
