Education and Experience:
·         Has a minimum of 2 years of experience as a School Director in a licensed childcare center.
·         Meets State Requirements for a State license as a School Director, preferably with a non-renewable certificate.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Implements Children’s Lighthouse policies, procedures and systems to ensure safe, healthy environment in compliance with Children’s Lighthouse and State Standards at all times.  
·         Plans and participates responsibly in marketing and special events.
·         Maximize occupancy of building. (Enrollment)
·         Impacts change required for continual compliance and improvement.
·         Recruits, hires, orients, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff.
·         Manages budget in compliance with Franchisee guidelines.
·         Represents Children’s Lighthouse to public, community, parents, visitors and staff with professionalism and integrity.
·         Attends/conducts meetings and trainings as directed.
·         Consistently follows through and completes all duties and responsibilities as assigned in a competent and timely manner.
·         Day to day operations in compliance with quality standards of Children's Lighthouse.
·         Wise productive use of time.
·         Able to accept and handle change.
·         Accepts instruction and direction in an appropriate manner.
·         Able to work flexible hours.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
·         Professional presentation and attitude.
·         Ability to communicate with, motivate others, analyze, and solve problems, fostering a positive work environment.
