• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the psychological needs of clients, focusing on the symptoms and impact of mood disorders.
• Work collaboratively with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals and address their specific mental health challenges.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring each approach is tailored to individual clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery.
• Monitor client progress effectively, utilizing metrics and feedback to adjust treatment plans in a responsive manner.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, to provide integrated care that encompasses all aspects of a client’s well-being.
• Stay informed about new research and advances in mental health treatment, actively contributing to the clinic’s quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment strategies, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to continually enhance clinical skills and effectiveness.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work towards reducing the stigma associated with seeking mental health care.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Lighthouse Wellness, you will focus primarily on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse client base includes children, adolescents, and adults from varied backgrounds, each seeking effective strategies for managing their mental health. By providing tailored, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in their lives.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Applicants must hold current and valid licensure either as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly focusing on mood disorders, is essential.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and an ability to work effectively alongside psychiatrists to coordinate care.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes in mental health treatment.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Experience working in a telehealth environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
• A background in advocacy related to mental health awareness and education.

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
