We provide state-of-the-art clinical treatment and individualized academic instruction for students age 3-22 with a wide variety of diagnoses, remaining focused on a commitment to being a “safety net” for students who most need the help. Lighthouse currently has an opening for a caring individual who desires to make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents with special needs.  Benefits Include:

Job Description:

  • The Special Education Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing each student’s educational goals and objectives according to their IEP
  • This is a 10-month (school year) position which follows Massachusetts schools’ vacations and holidays

Job Requirements:

  • We are looking for positive, energetic, and flexible applicants who can complement Lighthouse’s amazing culture
  • Patience, strong communication skills, and a good sense of humor are strongly recommended to be successful in this role
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure by MA DESE in Moderate Disabilities or Severe Disabilities
