Position Overview

Lighthouse Wellness Therapeutic Clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC) to join our dedicated remote team. In this integral role, you will provide high-quality mental health counseling to individuals dealing with mood disorders, promoting their mental well-being and facilitating their journey towards recovery.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to provide services in a flexible format that supports both your professional responsibilities and work-life balance. You will be integrated into a supportive team environment, where collaboration with peers and communication with clients can occur seamlessly through digital platforms. Your work hours will align with standard business operations: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, determining their severity, frequency, and overall impact on daily living.
  • Collaboratively craft individualized treatment plans tailored to the client's unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.
  • Provide essential education and support to both clients and their families on various aspects of mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate clientsโ€™ progress, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate an integrated approach to care that encompasses all aspects of the clientโ€™s health.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and treatment methodologies relevant to mood disorders to enhance therapeutic efficacy.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to the highest ethical standards.
  • Participate in clinical case consultations and team meetings focused on professional development and adherence to best practices.
  • Champion the needs of clients by advocating for the de-stigmatization of mood disorders and emphasizing the importance of mental health advocacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. By utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each individual, you will contribute to improved mental health outcomes and enhanced quality of life for these clients.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC in Washington State.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatments for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and effective collaboration practices with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
  • A proven track record of delivering successful results in the treatment of mood disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse array of clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working within a community health clinic or similar outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices.
  • Background in conducting group therapy sessions or community outreach programs.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
