We are currently seeking a part time .6 FTE K-12 Special Education Teacher - Resource Program to join Integrity Educational Services and serve students at Hope Academy of West Michigan!

Position Overview

The Special Education Teacher - Resource Program ensures high quality instruction, meaningful progress, and full compliance with state and federal special education requirements. This role requires strong instructional practice along with consistent attention to timelines, documentation, and collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding of special education rules and regulations related to compliance
  • Assist with developing, writing, and implementing compliant IEPs
  • Deliver specialized instruction aligned to student goals
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate data collection
  • Ensure timelines and documentation meet IDEA and Michigan requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain proactive family communication
  • Collaborate with general education teacher
  • Understanding of special education rules and regulations related to compliance
  • Ability to plan specially designed instruction for students with disabilities
  • Familiar with special education assessments both scoring and administration
  • Maintain accurate and timely records
  • File written reports in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate professional conduct and exhibit professional growth
  • Effectively plan and organize duties
  • Comply with school district policies and procedures
  • Effectively participate in meetings, committees, and other required district and building activities
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.


Qualifications and Skills


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The minimum qualifications needed to perform the essential functions of the job such as education, competencies, experience, knowledge and skills. This should include any specialized knowledge and expertise applicable to the job.

  • K-12th Grade Special Education Teacher with (LD) or (EI) Endorsement.
  • Subscribe to the mission and values of IES and the respective School/Academy.
  • Ability to effectively use technical/computer skills, and accompanying software to complete responsibilities
