About the Organization

Coastal Light Counseling Center is committed to improving the mental health and well-being of our community through evidence-based therapeutic practices. Our detox facility offers a supportive environment for individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. We believe in a holistic approach to healing, integrating medical, psychological, and social support services to promote lasting change. As part of our team, you will be joining a network that values collaboration, continuous learning, and the importance of client-centered care.

In addition, our organization prioritizes secure, HIPAA-compliant communications to protect client confidentiality. The flexibility of remote work is complemented by a rich support system, with our administrative team managing scheduling, claims, and billing to mitigate the traditional burdens faced by private practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

As the Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:

  • Managing a caseload of clients through in-network referrals provided by Coastal Light Counseling Center, enabling you to expand your practice while focusing on client care.
  • Conducting initial assessments and follow-up sessions, applying clinical best practices to develop personalized treatment plans for individuals dealing with substance use and mental health issues.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, to engage and support clients in their recovery journeys.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation within our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and HIPAA regulations.
  • Participating in regular staff meetings and case consultations to share insights and foster cooperative treatment planning with fellow clinicians.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who are in detoxification and early recovery stages, grappling with various substance use disorders. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds, requiring tailored interventions that respect their unique circumstances. Your expertise in mental health will be crucial in helping clients navigate emotional and psychological challenges as they embark on their recovery.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid License to practice as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.
  • A reliable internet connection for conducting virtual counseling sessions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships with clients.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, mental health disorders, and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Experience working in a detox or rehabilitation setting, enhancing your ability to relate to our client population.
Compensation and Benefits

Coastal Light Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:

  • Guaranteed payment bi-monthly, offering financial stability irrespective of insurance claim processing.
  • The flexibility to choose how many clients you wish to take on, enabling a personalized workload that fits your lifestyle.
  • Performance-based bonuses and referral incentives to further enhance your earning potential.
  • Access to ongoing professional development opportunities to advance your clinical skills and knowledge.

At Coastal Light Counseling Center, we are committed to the professional growth of our team members. You will have opportunities to engage in various training and workshops, paving the way for advanced clinical certifications, supervisory roles, or even administrative positions within our organization.

Why Join Our Team
