As the Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:

• Managing a caseload of clients through in-network referrals provided by Coastal Light Counseling Center, enabling you to expand your practice while focusing on client care.
• Conducting initial assessments and follow-up sessions, applying clinical best practices to develop personalized treatment plans for individuals dealing with substance use and mental health issues.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, to engage and support clients in their recovery journeys.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation within our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and HIPAA regulations.
• Participating in regular staff meetings and case consultations to share insights and foster cooperative treatment planning with fellow clinicians.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who are in detoxification and early recovery stages, grappling with various substance use disorders. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds, requiring tailored interventions that respect their unique circumstances. Your expertise in mental health will be crucial in helping clients navigate emotional and psychological challenges as they embark on their recovery.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid License to practice as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.
• A reliable internet connection for conducting virtual counseling sessions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships with clients.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, mental health disorders, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Experience working in a detox or rehabilitation setting, enhancing your ability to relate to our client population.
