Summary/objective:

This role is responsible for carrying out tasks for warehouse merchandise order fulfillments. This includes receiving, processing, storing, sending  and tracking orders applicable to shipping schedules.

Expectations of Warehouse Team Members at Angel Studios:

  • Punctuality: Warehouse hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Warehouse team members are expected to arrive between 7:50 and 8:00 AM and be ready to begin work at the start of their scheduled shift. Any exceptions should be approved by the Warehouse Manager.
  • Consistent Attendance: Warehouse team members are expected to maintain consistent and reliable attendance. Outside of approved PTO or other communicated absences, missed work should be infrequent and communicated clearly and promptly.
  • Accuracy - Warehouse team members are expected to maintain a high level of accuracy in all responsibilities, including: 

Order Picking: Pick all orders according to the pick ticket, including the correct SKU, description, and quantity.

Order Packing: Verify orders using scanners when available and ensure each order is packed and labeled correctly. The correct item, size, quantity, style, and quality should be verified before shipment.

Labeling: Label all items accurately, including individual products, boxes containing multiple items, and pallets. Team members should verify that each label correctly matches the item or contents being labeled.

Inventory Counts: Complete inventory counts accurately and report the correct quantity.

LBI: Update and maintain accurate LBI locations and, when possible, location counts.

Other Responsibilities: Complete all additional tasks with the same level of accuracy and attention to detail. 

? Organization-Warehouse team members are expected to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. This includes restocking shelves as needed, keeping aisles tidy, stacking boxes neatly, and maintaining general organization throughout the warehouse. 

? Urgency - Warehouse team members should approach their responsibilities with an appropriate sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy and quality. Tasks should be completed efficiently and within a reasonable timeframe. 

? Decency - Warehouse team members are expected to treat others with kindness, respect, and thoughtfulness. If a problem or concern arises, the appropriate manager should be notified promptly. 

? Other Responsibilities - Other responsibilities may arise throughout the course of a shift. Warehouse team members are expected to approach these responsibilities with the same standards of punctuality, attendance, accuracy, organization, urgency, and professionalism. .

Essential functions

  • Complete shipments by loading and processing orders in timely manner
  • Process requests and prepare outgoing orders and shipments by packing boxes, pulling materials, and placing orders in delivery areas.
  • Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment as needed to fulfill orders and other warehouse tasks.
  • Complete reports by inputting information where needed to reflect completion of various orders or tasks.
  • Comply with procedures, rules, and safety regulations while shipping and receiving supply orders.
  • Contribute to warehouse team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Document merchandise for deliveries and return
  • Identify and record missing, lost, damaged, or idle merchandise and place in appropriate area
  • Scan labels to ensure products are shipped to right destination
  • Package merchandise in secure and safe manner
  • Print shipping labels and attach to applicable shipments 
  • Provide quality services maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout responsibilities
  • Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English language required.  Additional language proficiency is a plus.

Work environment - This position will be working in a warehouse, which can be noisy. It can also be warm during the hotter months and cool during the colder months. When in the main office, expect a comfortable, air-conditioned work environment. Team members are issued their own desks, but the office is an open, shared space and can be fast-paced and occasionally noisy.

Physical demands - Will need to be able to stand for extended periods of time. May need to lift up to 40-50 lbs.

Position type and expected hours of work - Part Time

Travel required - Significant travel is not anticipated for this position.


Preferred education and experience

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Previous warehouse experience 
  • Familiarity with Angel, the Angel Guild, and our body of work (films, series, and other projects). 

Work authorization - Must be authorized to work in the United States.
